Privacy Policy

This policy applies only to jaydeeco.com. Our products each have their own privacy policies, which govern any information you provide to them. If you follow a link from this site to one of our products or to a third-party site, that site's policy applies.

If you contact us. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to respond to you.

Technical information. Our web host automatically records standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site, and we do not track you across other websites.

We use your information only for the purpose you gave it to us. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for marketing unless you've asked us to.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and our email — for example our web host and email provider. Some of these providers are based overseas, which means your information may be stored outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it to a comparable standard.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are retained for a short period by our host.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect, which limits what's at risk.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it's wrong. Email us and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can, and within 20 working days.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with the date it was last changed.
